Abstract
This paper focuses on the relationship among equity incentives, digital transformation, and ESG performance. Taking Chinese listed companies as the research object, it deeply explores the mediating role of digital transformation in the impact of equity incentives on ESG performance. The research finds that equity incentives can significantly promote the digital transformation of enterprises, and digital transformation in turn has a positive effect on ESG performance. Moreover, digital transformation plays a partial mediating role between equity incentives and ESG performance. This research provides new theoretical basis and practical directions for enterprises to optimize incentive mechanisms and improve ESG performance.
