Abstract
With the progress and development of society, the professional realm and self-cultivation of college teachers have become a crucial topic. Through the analysis of relevant theories and practices, the article firstly analyzes the connotation and characteristics of the professional moral cultivation of college teachers, and then elaborates on the professional realm of college teachers from the three aspects of teaching (student-oriented, dedication and love for students), scientific research (rigorous governance, the pursuit of excellence), and social service (service to the community, responsibility), and points out the current situation of the professional realm in a targeted way (increased pressure on education, sense of identity of the profession). It puts forward the way of self-cultivation (continuous learning, reflective teaching, research and writing, establishing contacts, physical and mental health).
