Research on the Development Trend and Countermeasures of the English Translation Industry in the New Era

Abstract

This study discusses the development trend and countermeasures of the English translation industry in the new era. By analyzing the growth of translation demand in the context of globalization, the promotion of scientific and technological progress on the translation industry and the impact of translation quality on the international image, it points out the main problems existing in the current translation industry, including insufficient training of translation talents. The limitations of the application of translation technology and the contradiction between market competition and translation quality. In response to these problems, corresponding optimization countermeasures are put forward, including improving the quality of translation talent training, strengthening the research and development and application of translation technology, and improving market supervision and industry self-discipline, in order to provide reference for the healthy development of the translation industry.
