The Exploration of Teaching Models and Methods in Film and Television English Education

Abstract
With the international development of China's film and television industry, the demand for English proficiency among film professionals has increased. However, existing English teaching models have not fully met the practical needs of students, especially in terms of language application in professional contexts. This study aims to explore effective English teaching models and methods tailored to Chinese students, helping them better navigate the challenges of globalization. Based on the current state of China's film industry, this research analyzes the shortcomings of existing film English instruction and proposes innovative approaches such as student-centered interactive teaching, project-based learning, and technology-driven immersive teaching. Through literature analysis and teaching experiments, the study validates the effectiveness of these models in enhancing students' English proficiency. The results indicate that these approaches improve students' language skills and strengthen their communication abilities in cross-cultural film production. This research offers new insights into film English education in China, with significant practical and applied value.
