The Relationship Between Art and Ill-Structured Domain Knowledge

Abstract
This paper adopts the concept of ill-structured domain knowledge as a foundational framework to investigate its characteristics and the intrinsic relationship with art. Ill-structured domain knowledge is characterized by complexity, ambiguous boundaries, and uncertain rules, with its acquisition relying on the comprehension and flexible application of specific contextual cases. As a form of knowledge, art also exhibits the distinct traits of ill-structured domains. The discussion delves into the relationship between art and cognitive abilities, the boundaries of art, art appreciation, artistic creation, and the connection between art and aesthetics. This study aims to provide a fresh perspective for understanding and analyzing the phenomenon of art in daily life.
