Abstract
The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), launched by China in 2013, represents a significant geopolitical and economic strategy aimed at enhancing global trade and stimulating economic growth across Asia and beyond. This paper explores the multifaceted impacts of the BRI on Latin America, focusing on economic, political, and social dimensions. By examining case studies from various Latin American countries, the paper elucidates how the BRI has altered trade dynamics, investment patterns, and diplomatic relations in the region. Furthermore, the challenges and opportunities facing the initiative are analyzed, providing a balanced perspective on its implications for Latin American countries.
