Abstract
This paper provides insight into how social work can intervene in the process of prevention and correction of juvenile delinquency in deviant behavior. Juvenile delinquency is a complex social problem that requires efforts and collaboration of many parties. Social work, as a professional intervention, plays an important role in solving this problem. This paper first analyzes the causes and the current situation of juvenile delinquency in deviant behavior. These adolescents often have deviant behaviors due to a variety of factors such as family environment, educational background, social environment and so on. Their criminal behavior not only jeopardizes the safety of themselves and others, but also has a negative impact on society. On this basis, this paper proposes a specific path for social work to intervene in the prevention and correction of juvenile delinquency of deviant behavior. Through a variety of methods such as casework, group work, community work and Ricci education, social workers can provide psychological counseling, behavioral modification and social support services for these adolescents. These services aim to help them rebuild their self-confidence, change their bad behavioral habits and better integrate into society. In the course of practical research, this paper finds that there are problems such as limited resources, insufficient specialization, insufficient interdisciplinary cooperation and low social awareness, etc. This paper puts forward countermeasures such as improving the degree of specialization, increasing the input of resources, strengthening interdisciplinary cooperation and improving social awareness.
