Abstract

This paper studies the challenges and countermeasures of the optimization and adjustment of Guangzhou's foreign trade dependence. By analyzing the historical evolution of Guangzhou's foreign trade dependence, its impact on economic growth and dependence on the external economic environment, it reveals its shortcomings in market diversification, industrial structure and enterprise innovation ability. In view of these problems, the market diversification strategy, industrial structure upgrading and optimization countermeasures to improve the innovation ability of enterprises are put forward. Only through various comprehensive measures can we effectively reduce the risks caused by excessive dependence on foreign trade in Guangzhou and promote the sustainable development of its economy.
