Abstract
In the Tang Dynasty, a pinnacle of ancient Chinese civilization, was marked by its cultural inclusivity and openness, which propelled the development of arts and crafts to remarkable heights. Among these, pottery figurines of Tang Dynasty stands out for its profound historical, artistic, and aesthetic significance. In recent years, pottery figurines of Tang Dynasty has become a prominent focus in academic research, yielding significant advancements in understanding its cultural connotations, artistic forms, preservation techniques, and the development of related cultural and creative industries. Nevertheless, challenges remain, particularly in the areas of pottery conservation, restoration, and the innovative integration of pottery into modern cultural products. A systematic review of existing research on pottery figurines of Tang Dynasty not only provides valuable insights for future studies but also highlights the importance of enhancing contemporary efforts toward the protection and practical utilization of these cultural artifacts.
